Sponsor Agreement

1. What you are buying

You are buying a defined window of placement on one specific campaign. During that window your company name, logo, description and links appear as the sponsor of that campaign, on its page and in the public leaderboard.

Sponsorships start at €1. The exact window length and its start and end times are shown before you pay and confirmed afterwards.

2. Your window cannot be taken from you

Once a window is paid for, it is yours for its full duration. No larger payment displaces you mid-window. If the calendar is already booked, your window begins when the current one ends — again, shown before you pay.

3. What we do not promise

Read this part carefully.

• No guaranteed audience. We do not promise any number of views, clicks, claims, signups or conversions.
• No guaranteed outcome. Sponsorship is brand placement, not performance advertising.
• We do not control the founder. Delivery of the underlying benefit is their obligation, not ours.
• Reported figures are best-effort analytics and may be approximate.

4. When your placement goes live

Placement activates once your payment is confirmed, not when you complete checkout. Card payments usually confirm immediately; bank-based methods can take several days, and your window begins on confirmation. If a payment fails or expires, the reserved dates are released.

5. Your brand assets

• You confirm you are entitled to use the company name, logo and description you supply, and to let us display them.
• Where you do not supply a logo, we may show one derived from your website’s own published icon.
• You grant us a licence to display these for the duration of your window and to keep them in the campaign’s sponsor history afterwards.
• We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or unsuitable for the audience.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe in euro. Our fee is already included in the price you see. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Set out in full in the Refund Policy. In short: a window that has not started can be cancelled for a full refund; once it is running it is being delivered, so refunds are discretionary; and if we or the founder fail to deliver, you get your money back.

8. Editorial independence

Sponsoring a campaign does not buy influence over FundedBy, over what appears elsewhere on the site, or over leaderboard position beyond the amount publicly shown. Outbound links from your placement are marked as sponsored, as search engine guidelines require.

9. Liability

Our total liability for any sponsorship is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or reputational harm.

10. Ending it

We may end a placement early if the content breaches this agreement or the law, or if the campaign is removed. Where we end a live window for reasons that are not your fault, we refund the undelivered part.
